The Crees Collection is one of my collections that is a range of silver contemporary jewellery that is inspired by Scottish nature and Mexican Culture. It has numerous pieces that are delicate and elegant. It is also a collection that is the one that never changes and will always be available whereas other collections contain bespoke and original designs. 

I named it the Crees because it is a dedication to the name of the bar/restaurant that i have worked in for five years in the beautiful village of Abernethy, Perthshire. Grant and Lisa Conway taught me so much about how to work in hospitality and a few life lessons too and I will always be grateful to them for encouraging me to be the entrepeneur that I am today. Over the years i also built up great friendships with many of the customers who i consider friends and when i announced that i was moving on to start my venture of starting my own business the beautiful people of Abernethy had a surprise waiting for me. Between the staff at The Crees Inn and the customers they managed to raise £700 for me to pay for half of my workshop tools. I was completely overwhelmed and so grateful to each and every one of them for this amazing kind gift. Therefore I named the collection that I will always have on my website after them as a reminder of their kindness and a sign of my gratitude. 

In addition the word "crees" means "you believe" in Spanish which is exactly what they all did, they believed in me which meant i had the courage to believe in myself. 

The Crees Inn is an incredible restaurant and hotel that makes the ideal weekend getaway or the perfect dinner with friends or even a stop for one of the best pints you'll ever have. So please pop by if you ever pass through Abernethy and I promise you wont regret it, the food is brilliant, actually everything about that place is brilliant.
